10 Sites to Discover this Weekend – Aug 29

I got great feedback after doing this last Friday, so I’m excited to share with you 10 more sites/posts to discover this weekend.  If you have some free time and are looking for some good reads, I would definitely recommend checking these out:

1.  Zen Habits – 7 Little Habits that Can Change You Life and How to Form Them – title says it all. Building these habits will definitely help you as a dad too.

2.  Art of Manliness – 8 Inspirational Football Locker Room Speeches – I’m a sucker for anything to do with football.  These video clips bring back great memories.

3.  Nuclear Family Warhead – My Fellow Americans… – this is hilarious! Vote for NukeDad!

4.  A Man Among Mommies – 25 Things I Thought I Thought – I think I thought the same things, and you probably did too.

5.  The Busy Dad Blog – Cheers, MiniMan!! You’re 30! – fun birthday post for legos.

6.  The Man Page – My Boobs Are Not Squeeze Toys: 8 Tips for More Action in the Bedroom – dads take notice – playing with mommy’s boobs like a bath toy will not get you more sex, but these 8 tips might get you past first base this weekend.

7.  The Manival: Today’s Modern Man hosted at Savvy Daddy – Tony does a great job presenting this week’s Manival, which is a blog carnival for men sharing some awesome links.

8.  Dad of Divas – The Importance of Artistic Expression for Our Children – Mishelle from Secret Agent Mama does a guest post on photography and the importance of sharing the things you love with your children.

9.  Writer Dad – No, No, No! I said, “I didn’t want to be a Chooch!” – Here’s a quote, “I love writing.  It’s harder than breathing, but easier than doing the dishes.”  Funny and worth reading.

10.  Backpacking Dad – The Mosh Pit – Ever been to one of those play areas in a mall?  Has chaos erupted with unruly kids and jackass parents? Then, you can relate to this post.

      Thanks for the link love Jeremy! I love how my kid can pretty much play with the exact same toy I played with when I was his age. Cept my version didn’t have to pay George Lucas royalties. As Mr Lady would say, bygones.
