I’m very proud to formally announce that Discovering Dad was selected to be a member of the 9Rules Network.  Many of you may have noticed the new icon with the distinctive leaf on the sidebar.  For those of you who may not be familiar with 9Rules, this is a pretty big deal.  The network aggregates and promotes “the best content from the independent web,” and it is a very select group of blogs picked each round to be part of the network.

It’s humbling, actually, to be associated with 9Rules and many of the outstanding blogs/writers who are fellow members.  There aren’t that many parenting sites included, and I’m pretty sure that Discovering Dad is the first of the network to focus on the fatherhood niche.  I’ll do my be to represent us dads well

The 9Rules Network is chock full of incredible members, and I’m excited to discover more about those I haven’t read before.  If you go to the 9Rules site, you can sort member blogs by category or just scroll through the most recent content headlines.

I really want to take a moment to say thank you for making Discovering Dad such an amazing place to connect, discover and learn what it means to be a good dad! I couldn’t ask for more engaged and thoughtful readers, as well as a great group of Contributing Writers.  I feel privileged to have so many great people guest post and participate in the various series too.  You all motivate and inspire me every day, and I could not have grown this blog into something great and special without you!

I also want to thank my wife Lori and three amazing kids for being so supportive of the work I do on this site.
