Discovering Dad Wins Fantasy Football Dad League
It’s official! Discovering Dad has won the Fantasy Football Dad League hosted by fellow dad blogger Pat from Annoyingly Boring! Playing in a fantasy league definitely helps to make the football season more exciting to watch. While my favorite team is the Ravens (my team name is Discover the Ravens), it’s fun to cheer for individual players and talk a little trash on league message boards.
I’d like to thank all of the dads who played in the league this year, and I’d definitely recommend visiting their blogs when you get a chance:
Pat from Annoyingly Boring?
Richard (team name Karma Police)
James from Daddyshack
Jeff from Daddy’s Toolbox
Whit from Honea Express
Ed from Little m Long a
Russ from Dads Who Mock the World (Russ and I met in the Championship this year – Great Game Man!)
Kevin (St. Paul Strikeforce)
Chris (FR8 MOVER)
Now that Discovering Dad won the Dad League Championship, I highly recommend that you all “Discover the Ravens” in the Playoffs next week as they whoop up on Pat’s Patriots!!!!
Also, if any of you Dad bloggers want to join the league next year, stop over at Annoyingly Boring and beg Pat to let you in! I’m already planning my strategy to win again next season!

Congrats on the championship! I will, however, claim bragging rights as having the best regular season record this year! And even though I’m not currently blogging, we’re maintaining a photoblog of my daughter at http://www.houleweb.com/baby/.

That’s right Kevin – you did have the best regular season record. I chased you all year to try and take the lead, but I couldn’t quite get there. Glad to hear you’ve got a photoblog and thanks for sharing it!

An off year for sure. I gladly surrender my crown for now. Look out next year. I’ll be back to reclaim it.

Oh, and even without Welker I reckon the Pats will dispatch the Ravens with only a little trouble.

Yeah, yeah. Congrats and all that crap!
I sucked so bad this year I almost got beat one week by by a guy (not to mention any names but his name sounds a lot like James)who started two players on IR and one that was on a BYE week. Next year my seven year old is playing–he’s knows more about the game than I do anyway.

Ahhhh that hurts man! I’ll raise my beer to you when Brady falls this weekend to the Ravens mighty defense!!!!

I feel ya Ed! James did the same thing to me this year. Tell your 7 year old that it’s a good plan to draft a kicker in the first round next year
