Fitness for Dads: Dad, What’s for Dinner?

It’s 5pm. You’re still at work, but tonight you’re supposed to make dinner.

The last thing you want to do is order pizza because that’s what you did last night and you can’t bear to ask your wife to cook again this week because TONIGHT is the only night you’re responsible to feed the family.

It also happens to be the day that your meeting ran through lunch so you couldn’t pop down to the gym for your workout.

So, no workout, no dinner.

Many times before I’ve been a victim to this situation so much so that I had the local Chinese Food restaurant on speed dial. And although Chinese Food tastes good in certain situations (think college, late at night after getting home from the bar), it’s not ideal for feeding a healthy growing family.

So to save you time, strife and stress, my advice is to have a “Go-To” Meal/Recipe that 1) is tried and true and tastes great and 2) is relatively healthy so that you won’t be feeling the effects of it when you wake up in the morning and feeling like you got hit by a truck.

In my video below, I’ve outlined my “Go-To” meal that takes 23-minutes to prepare.

I also got a quick workout in as well.

Let me know what your “Go-To” meal is!
