After much fanfare and anticipation, I’m proud to introduce you to baby Caitlin:

She couldn’t wait to meet you all, so she decided to come 6 weeks early! Mom did an awesome job, and I’m very proud of her. After 21 hours of relatively easy yet prolonged labor – bada-bing-bada-boom – mom gave 3 pushes and *poof* Caitlin magically appeared.

She weighed 5 lbs 6 oz, and due to her surprise arrival, she has to spend a little more time in the hospital to build-up her strength (so that she can defend herself from Ty the Tank).

We’re very excited, and thanks to everyone who sent the kind words, thoughts and prayers!

Now, with Chani finishing off middle school, Ty entering the terrific twos and Caitlin springing on the scene, I’m sure I’ll have lots of new discoveries to share over the coming year.

I’m going to need lots of moral support, advice and empathy!

Once again, how ’bout a round of applause for Mom and baby!
