Key Learning from Blogging Idol
Discovering Dad was a proud participant in the first ever Blogging Idol contest hosted by Daniel at Daily Blog Tips. The challenge for all competitors was to see who could get the biggest increase in subscribers, as measured by Feedburner, during the month of July. Here’s what I learned:

You Are My Idol – Week 3 Winner and Blogging Idol Update
What a difference a week can make. After hitting a new high of 309 subscribers last week, then sinking to a low of 274 subscribers by week’s end, I am very excited that the count has risen back up to a respectable 340 subscribers as of today. Thanks to your outstanding support, Discovering Dad is turning in a respectable performance in the Blogging Idol competition hosted at Daily Blog Tips.

Weekly Winner and Blogging Idol Update
At the beginning of the competition, Discovering Dad had 279 subscribers, so you can imagine my dismay when the subscriber count plummeted from a high of 309 to a low of 274 last week.
