I normally don't shamelessly link to my own blog like this but since I am a dad of a girl and we REALLY enjoy this activity, I thought I would. I linked my name to my post on geocaching which is one of my daughter (7 years old) and my favorite activity to do together.

Thanks for the daughter's-eye-view. I will bee booking a reservation (figuratively) at my local chick-fil-a.

Great guest post, Chani! Looks like writing is running in the family =)

When my daughter was younger, my husband really didn't quite know what to do with a girl, as far as activities go. She was a ballerina, and not really into dirt bikes, motorcycles and hunting like her brothers were. However, now that she is older, for the past several years they have really enjoyed kayaking together. Sometimes we all go as a family, but often, it is an activity that the two of them enjoy alone together, and then they will often stop and have dinner or dessert or even just coffee on the way home.
