I have noticed that feedburner adds feed crawlers from search engines and directories to the subscription numbers. Once they crawled your feed, the "subscriber" stays in your subscriber count for a day or two, then disappears. Problem is, it is hard to tell the difference between a real person or a machine crawling your feed.

I noticed this on my own feed anyways.

About the Feedburner subscriber counts, I believe the reason is because less people check their feed readers over the weekend. I, too, wondered why our subscriber count decreased on weekends and picked back up on Mondays. Searching through Google, I found a post on Daily Blog Tips explaining it all: http://www.dailyblogtips.com/manage-feed-count-fluctuations/

And thanks for the mention man! Good luck, you know I'm supportin' ya!
