What Moms Really Think About - A Series for Dads (Recap)
One of the best experiences I’ve had blogging was putting together the What Moms Really Think About - A Series for Dads. The thing I liked most about the series was the dialogue that the topics, insights and comments sparked. It was a rare learning experience, in which hundreds of moms and dads put defenses aside and just talked about issues of importance to us all. There were no judgments, no name calling, no ‘hating’ - just honesty, appreciation and a desire to understand.
If you’re new to Discovering Dad, here’s a link to each of the articles in the series:

Special thanks goes out to the 5 amazing women who participated on the panel: Kim of Jogging In Circles; Jen of Huckdoll’s Hood; Shannon of Whiskey in My Sippy Cup; Piper of Bliss in Bloom; and, Lori aka Mrs. Discovering Dad (my wife). I would highly recommend all of these ladies’ blogs - visit them often and subscribe to their feeds.
Shannon also wrote a great follow-up article on the experience on The Anthill at cre8Buzz.
Joeprah also wrote a nice commentary on the series at TheExaminer.com.
Three of my fellow dad bloggers also helped to provide me with feedback on the series: Jim at The Busy Dad Blog; Tyler at Building Camelot; and, Jason at Roth Family Adventures. These dads rock, so be sure to check out their blogs and subscribe to their feeds too!
I hope you all learn as much from this series as I did. Thanks to everyone for participating!
