BMW Motorrad, the motorcycle subsidiary of BMW, took advantage of the #NEXTGen 2020 event to announce an electric scooter like no other. Looking straight out of a sci-fi movie, the Definition CE 04 is a machine that will undoubtedly appeal to those who want to treat themselves to a two-wheeler with a futuristic look. In fact, this is not the German firm’s first electric scooter. It presents itself as the successor of the C-Evo launched in 2014.
Innovative design and advanced features
According to information from the Car Scoops website, the Definition CE 04 is none other than the finalized version of the Link concept, presented for the first time in 2017. It is considered both a means of transport and a means of communication thanks to its design optimized for urban mobility and its features that allow you to stay connected during the journey. Precisely, in terms of connectivity, a 10.25-inch touch screen is planned. This serves as an interface between the machine and the driver.

On the design side, the Definition CE 04 hasn’t changed too much from the prototype unveiled three years earlier. It has a low and elongated body. U-shaped front lighting and C-shaped rear lighting give it unparalleled elegance. It should also be noted that this new electric scooter from BMW has a side opening trunk capable of accommodating a helmet and a bag.

Price and availability of the BMW Motorrad Definition CE 04
The manufacturer has placed the battery in the lower part to improve the center of gravity and thus provide a better feeling of driving. Regarding the performance of the Definition CE 04, BMW Motorrad has unfortunately not yet commented on this subject. It is only known that the vehicle is designed for urban users who travel about 12 km per day.
Some specialists argue for their part that the scooter has a range of 130 km. Its power would be close to that of a 125 cc petrol two-wheeler. In other words, you should be able to drive with it if you have a car license.
As for price and release date, they are still unknown. Note all the same that the C-Evo cost around € 15,000 when it was released in 2014. A price that did not prevent it from selling more than 3200 copies in France!
