With more than 10,000 registrations, the electric car in September represented nearly 6% of new vehicle sales in France. Thanks to the figures communicated by Avere France and the platform www.je-roule-en-electrique.fr, Automobile Propre lists the best-selling models over the past month.
Electric: the unbeatable ZOE
Queen of the electric since its launch, the Renault ZOE does not seem worried by the arrival of competition. With 2,878 units sold, the Renault city car retains its first place and is well ahead of its great rival, the Peugeot e-208, registered at 1,230 units over the same period. Ranked third, the Tesla Model 3 totaled 1083 registrations while the Volkswagen ID.3 finished in fourth place with 616 units sold.
The fifth and sixth places are occupied by two Korean models. With 583 units sold, the Kia e-Niro wins against the electric Kona (559). Then come two models from the PSA offer. The Opel Corsa-e ended the month with 400 full registrations, followed closely by the Peugeot e-2008 (376). Ranked 9th, the Mini Electric totaled 239 registrations over the period. Once in the lead, the Nissan Leaf finished in last place in this top 10 with 217 units sold.

Plug-in hybrid: the Renault Captur e-Tech takes the lead
After four consecutive months at the head of the market, the Peugeot 3008 plug-in hybrid gives way to the Renault Captur e-Tech. With 899 registrations recorded in September, the SUV connected to the diamond largely surpasses its competitor to the Lion, which finishes in second place with 583 units sold.
