The French brand announces six new semi-rigid and fully suspended VAEs equipped with Bosch motors and batteries which promise up to 110 km of autonomy for urban and off-road use.
On the strength of its glorious past in the field of cycling with the first models produced in series as early as the 19th century, Peugeot took the turn of the electric-assisted bicycle a few years ago with VAE for the road, city and E-MTBs. The lion brand is expanding its range with six new so-called trekking models, designed for urban and off-road use. The Peugeot eT01 Crossover offers semi-rigid and fully suspended frames with prices ranging between 2,499 and 3,999 euros.
We start with the Peugeot eT01 Crossover D9 available in a “sport” or mixed ”version with an aluminum frame with a straight or sloping upper tube to make it easier to step over. It is equipped with a central Bosch Active Line Plus motor and a removable PowerTube 400 Wh battery that offers up to 110 km of autonomy. It is mounted in 29 inches with Hutchinson tires that are sufficiently rolling for asphalt and gripping for trails and tracks that are not too stony. The D9 is equipped with mudguards, a kickstand, a luggage rack and integrated lighting. A rather complete equipment for this entry-level model at 2,499 euros.

A full suspension Crossover FS with 80mm of front / rear travel
Then comes the eT01 Crossover D10, also available in two frame designs, which runs on a more torquey Bosch Performance CX motor (63 Nm) and a 500 Wh PowerTube battery for the same maximum range of 110 km / h. For those looking for maximum comfort, Peugeot has planned a full suspension version of its electric bike called eT01 Crossover FS. The fork and shock provide 80mm of travel which should be enough to tackle relatively smooth potholes, cobblestones and paths. The Crossover FS is available with a Bosch Active Line Plus motor and a 400 Wh PowerTube battery or a Bosch Performance CX of 60 Nm with a 500 Wh battery. The announced autonomy is also 110 km.
Good to know: Peugeot assembles its eT01 Crossover electric bikes in France, in Romilly sur Seine (Aube). For the moment, only the eT01 D9 is offered on Peugeot’s online store, but the manufacturer indicates that the entire range is available from its dealers.
