Another novelty in the field of electric motorcycles! This time, it’s the American manufacturer Tarform who offers the Luna! Soon we will no longer know where to look as the models multiply. The sector is booming, everyone goes for their innovation, their little something extra that will be able to attract future buyers!

With the Luna model, Tarform innovates on the sustainable and evolutionary side of its motorized vehicle, electric obviously! A retro roadster look, recycled or recyclable materials for support and tempting performance for this original model.

Recycled materials for its design

La Luna is a model of electric motorcycle that is sustainable in many ways. First of all, for the materials. There are plastic cards, an aluminum structure and a biodegradable leather saddle. Flax fiber is also present for other parts of the motorcycle.

Then, the Luna will be scalable. Indeed the change of parts is easy. For example, the original 10 kWh battery pack can be replaced by future batteries that will come out, without changing motorbikes. Concretely the framework of future models should not change but it will be possible to include improved spare parts.

Interesting performances

The manufacturer announces a range of 200 km and a 0 to 100 km / h in less than 4 seconds! On the engine side, it will develop 55 horsepower, with a 10 kWh battery. The advertised top speed is 150 km / h and it will take about 50 minutes to reach 80% battery charge.
